We have contributed to a recent review article with colleagues in Europe, China, and at the JQI, on the topic of telecommunications-band quantum dot technologies for quantum networks. This article discusses both quantum dots that directly emit in the telecommunications bands and the use of quantum frequency downconversion to reach telecommunications wavelengths using quantum dots that emit at shorter wavelengths.
