Ethan is a doctoral student in the computer science department at the University of Maryland, College Park and has been working with Prof. Xiaodi Wu since 2019. His research focuses on developing and implementing a range of quantum algorithms on near-term quantum devices. Before joining QuICS as a graduate student, Ethan studied computer engineering and minored in physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
