Jacob holds degrees in Physics and Mathematics and is a doctoral student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering program. He is interested in how to design and develop quantum systems for quantum computers, control them efficiently to execute near-term quantum algorithms, and build them into scalable quantum processors. He is working with Dr. Xiaodi Wu.
