Jiaqi Leng was a QuICS doctoral student in mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park from 2019 to 2024. He received his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2024. He is interested in applying advanced mathematics to the design and understanding of quantum algorithms. During his time at QuICS his advisor was Xiaodi Wu. After QuICS Jiaqi continued on as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at UC Berkeley.
