Kunal Sharma was a QuICS Hartree Postdoctoral Fellow in quantum information and computer science from 2021 to 2022. His research interests include benchmarking quantum devices, quantum algorithms, quantum communication theory, and quantum machine learning. Before joining QuICS, Sharma received his doctorate in physics from LSU in 2021. He was also a graduate research assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2019-2020. After his QuICS Hartree Fellowship, Kunal joined IBM in February 2022.
