Uday Singla is working on a 3-dimensional monolithic ion-trap experiment for his master's research in the group of Prof. Norbert Linke at the Duke Quantum Center, Duke University as a visiting student. In the past, he has worked on quantum and classical algorithms for Hamiltonian simulations and quantum expectation value calculations at the Information Sciences Institute, University of Southern California with Prof. Itay Hen. He is currently in the final year of an integrated bachelors-masters at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India and will be starting his doctoral studies at UW Madison in Fall 2024 on quantum computing and networking using neutral atoms.
