Abstract
We demonstrate efficient second harmonic generation in a silicon nitride microring, through perfect phase matching of a photogalvanic DC-field-induced chi((2)) process. The efficiency of 2,500 %/W is > 100 x larger than the previous record in silicon photonics. (c) 2020 The Author(s)
