Abstract
Here we present the first experimental entanglement-assisted quantum characterization of an unknown photon-number-resolvingdetector, i.e. the reconstruction of its positive operator-valued measure (POVM), obtained by exploiting the quantum correlations of at win-beam generated by parametric down conversion (PDC).
