Luis Pedro is a theoretical quantum physicist. His work has dealt with the dynamics of isolated quantum systems, the study and control of monitored systems, the limits to thermodynamics, and the foundations of quantum theory. Luis Pedro received his PhD from the University of Bristol in 2016, following his MSc from the University of the Republic in Uruguay in 2011. He was a QuICS Postdoctoral Scholar from 2019 to 2022 and has moved on to a Staff Scientist position at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
